The Slot Machine is a fun cash gambling feature which is loosely based on real life slot machines. If you're not familiar with slot machines, don't worry as this page will explain.

Making Bets

The Slot Machine shows the following features:

• The Reels, which are the 3 windows containing icons.
• The Current Jackpot, shown above the reels (for the machine in your current city).
• The Bet Buttons, shown below the reels.
• The Pay Table Button, shown on the bottom left on desktop or at the bottom of the screen on mobile.

To make a bet, just click one of the Bet Buttons for the amount of money you want to gamble ( ranging from just $10 to $1m). After clicking the Bet Button, the Reels will begin spinning for a few seconds. Each of the Reels will then stop spinning on a certain icon, leaving you with a result of 3 icons (this is the middle row, indicated by the red arrow either side). Then, depending on the combination of these icons, you will either win an amount of money or lose your bet.

The winning combinations can be found by clicking the Pay Table Button. The payouts are usually a multiple of the bet you have made, for example if you bet $100 and win a payout of 10x, $1k will be returned. However, you can also win the Jackpot, which is explained below.

Spin limit

The Slot Machine has a limit of 10,000 spins per game day.

The Jackpot

The Slot Machine in each city on the game has a separate Jackpot balance. For every bet made on a machine, 5% of the bet amount is added to the Jackpot. The Jackpot keeps building up until a lucky player wins the machine's Jackpot with the combination of 3 diamonds, at which point the Jackpot resets.

When winning the jackpot, you also win your bet amount back. For example if the jackpot is $1,000,000 and you bet $100,000, then you'd win $1,100,000 back (giving you a profit of $1,000,000).

As the bet amount doesn't effect the outcome of the reels, every bet amount has an equal chance of winning the jackpot. The outcome of 3 diamonds is rare but there's otherwise no special control over the jackpot, i.e. it could be paid out at any time - theoretically it could be paid out twice in a row.

The Diamond Dez accolade can be earned from the Slot Machine.

• Bronze: Win the Slot Machine jackpot (3 x Diamond).
• Silver: Win the Slot Machine jackpot (3 x Diamond) twice.
• Gold: Win the Slot Machine jackpot (3 x Diamond) three times.
