Let the bullets fly.....

Bullets flew late last week; The Saints took on TheBrotherhood in the latest family war. The killing of Haze kicked off the conflict. Several members were lost on each side in quick succession. Players were dropping like flies for a couple of hours. At one point both families were in position to wipe the other off the face of GN. Collapse and sexualmanwhore sat atop their respective families without an RHM to protect the family. Neither side seemed able or willing to pull the final trigger and close out their rival. A truce was finally called and as terms The Saints were dissolved. All in all it was a quick and bloody battle. TheBrotherhood fended off their first challenge to their existence.

Helix, the boss of The Mercenaries, was shot down late Sunday. The killer walked away with a cool $8,000,000 plus. Will his family take revenge? Only time will tell.

Other than that not many other deaths of note. Inactive accounts and low ranks dying in backfire seem to be the norm lately.

Game Notes

The mentoring feature has returned to GN. Mentoring allows players to "mentor" other players. When a player receives a mentor from another player, rank points are automatically assigned to the receiving players account. The number of points received are random but do depend on the level of the sender. Higher levels are meant to send to lower levels. When lower levels send to a higher level the amount of points received is minimal. The cost of mentoring another player increases depending on your level. There are timers on sending and receiving mentors. Selling mentors to other players is an easy and quick way to make a spare bit of cash.

Slight changes have been made to Auction House. The time lengths for setting up an auction have been reduced. Also the end times have been changed. The exact end time is not displayed but is displayed as a range of time. Secondly, a small random amount of time is added or subtracted from the end time so even the auction starter can not be sure as to the exact end time.
