Dodge The Bullet

After a few gin and tonics in one of the local bars Dodge decided to call one of his fam members to pick him up, unknown to him his fam were starting to get annoyed with his style of leardership and were planning a mutiny against him. Dodge called a so called faithfull member of his Black Market family Lightning to come and get him. as Lightning pulled up along side Dodge the window rolled down and lightning fired at his Boss, unfortunatly for him Dodge was still a quick shot even with a few drinks inside him, Lightning didnt stand a chance, Dodge shot so many bullets at him the Lambo he was driving exploded a few hundred yards down the road. After the failed killing Thug one of Dodge's top men fled the family and quickly started his own fam with Secretschild called Britannia. Unfortunatly for Thug whilst in the process of running from his fam he bumpded into an old enemy from neighbouring fam Divine Intervention, without thinking thug killed his enemy and fled to his new family hideout, Divine hearing about his family members death went on the warpath after Thug, again it wasnt his lucky day and due to his family being new he had no where to hide, divine found his hideout and filled him with lovely hot lead. After hearing of thugs death Secretschild had a private meeting with Divine, and soon was a fully fledged member of Divine Intervention. Most gangsters then thought this was the end of it but what they didnt know is that before there deaths thug and lightning had informed TheKnight that dodge was "bullying" Secretschild, he didnt like the idea od Dodge treating such a nice girl so bad so set his private detecs to find Dodge, it didnt take them long to find him drowning himself in a bottle of gin, Theknight had no trouble in finishing him, he had used near enough all of his ammo in the angry bf killing of lightning, and in some ways was glad this nightmare was coming to an end. This is when it all really kicked off, Rhys finding out about his friends Dodge's Death went mental and shot at an unknown assasian in which he ended up tasting the gutter, His father Joey then heard of his sons death and followed suit, in an angry and long gun fight him and cavie managed to cause over 5 million dollars worth of damage to numerous shops in the local area, joey was later found washed up on the shores of California, whilst cavie was treated in hospital for minor wounds and was later realesed. Erby meanwhile had sat and waited patiently for all the blood shed to end. Whilst at his friends Dodge's Funeral he noticed a familiar face, TheKnight, Erby was compelled to kill at the thought that TheKnight had the ordasity to show his face at the funeral of the guy he killed. Erby made TheKnight look like an ammature, he played with him before he finally delivered the killing shot to the head. Erby then thought he would see how far he could go and shot at TheJoker from the family The Cave, just to piss of its higher members, TheJoker never stood a chance against such an experienced gangster like Erby. He then called some more private detecs but they refused his offer as they were themselves fearing for there lives. To save anymore hassle erby called some The Cave members and called a temproary shaky truse. Whilst all this was happending nobody realised that dodge now returned as UnderEstimateD was bribing many gangsters for money and bullets, he didnt do to badly as he killed four gangsters and another died in his BF in under seven hours, a specialist unknown hitman was then hired to finally finish Dodge off. Since all of that blood shed things seem relativly quiet, but knowing joey and erby and dodge quite well, i dought there trigger fingers can stay still for long....

Interview - With Mike

Exocet - Well firstly Hi Mike and thanx for agreeing to do an interview for the Times How do you think things are going so far in this new round
Right here goes then

Mike - Alright, I'm guilty for not following game play much but what I do know is the economy needs straightening out with bullets etc! From my prospective, too many kills too soon

Exocet - Well i am sure some will agree and there will be others that will disagree So far this round there seems to have been quite a few players cheating, how come this is all of a sudden happening ?

Mike - I'm not sure - perhaps they can't keep up with the pro's so feel a need to find another way?! Most of the cheats so far have been in groups of friends, so likely if one person paves a way their friends are being shown the same path to take (how to cheat) - of course we will always find them at some point, and the end result won't be good

Exocet - Well as we have already seen you seem to be cracking down on these cheats so GN is now 5 years old, did you expect 5 years ago that the game would be were it is now? or did you expect more by now?

Mike - 5 years ago I wanted to make this game for fun, I didn't expect a single player to actually play - so I can't complain to see 62 online concurrently right now! This website has been a big learning curve for me and has been the small beginning to my career. But no.. 5 years ago it was all for fun, I was 14 and had a secret computer fetish

Exocet - We all know you love your dot com world are there any further improvements to the game you may be thinking of that maybe you haven't mentioned to us all yet ?

Mike - Not really to be honest.. there are always bits of work to be done around here, always improvements to be done.. sort of like owning a house! In the near future we have new prison and paid work to come plus more achievements and an alteration to family businesses. There are always things in the pipeline like multi-player blackjack + poker, vehicle racing etc.. it's just finding the time to develop these things.

Exocet - Well i am sure you will work hard as per usual to get all of these things up and running don't wanna keep you any longer now as i am sure you are busy Is there anything else you would like to add before we round this one up ?

Mike - umm yeah sometimes i come across "moody" to players cause I'm not the best "customer service" type guy and say what I think generally lol but truthfully I love most of the community, just not cheats and other heavy rule breakers

The game would be nothing without players, of course, so much love to the players!

Cheats

Two more gangsters have been banned for cheating (Scripting) they we're AlcoPwn and Villa after Mike noticed they both had read no messages or events. Mike sent them both a message asking that they both send him a message or send one to the Help desk. Both users didn't do this and 10 minutes later Mike logged them out to check if the would log back in but they didn't. Most users would log back in or have replied to the messages but these users were logged off and the funny things is they were STILL RANKING!

Thank you to all those who messaged me about my first issue, i am glad you enjoyed it and i hope you enjoy todays Times.

Thanks to Suther who is now a Sub-Editor for the times and has been helping me.

I will be doing a new Times every 2 - 3 days (maybe sometimes 4) it all depends on the amount of action that happens on the game and how much time i have to get stories together, there is no point in doing one every day as they will be rather boring, if you would like anything in the Times, just message me and i will see what i can do.

Also in the Forums there is a post for things you want in the times, post things in there and again i will see what i can do
