Personal Information
The only personally identifiable information we ask from you through our website is your e-mail address. This is stored against your account in our database and is used for verifying your account registration and contacting you (opt-in marketing, resetting your password, discussion of issues with your account etc).
We may occasionally use your email address to contact you through social network websites where you have enabled this ability on your social networking account.
Account Password
If you choose to register to our website directly then we will always store your password in our database using one-way encryption. This means that your password cannot be read by any of our staff and minimizes the chances of your password being revealed in the case of data being compromised.
We advise that you use a unique password on every website that you register to, this ensures that in the case of a password being compromised your accounts at other websites are still safe.
If you login to our website through an external provider (for example Facebook, Google or Twitter) then we do not have access to your account password and only store a unique value which links to your Gangster Nation account to the external account.

This data is used to recognize accounts sharing the same connection in order to make sure that our game rules are followed. In addition to this it allows us to improve the website for you and ensure that it functions as intended on all devices.

In over 8 years of running this website there have been no known cases of data being compromised, we intend to keep it this way.
